I am probably one of the few people that read The Scarlet Letter in high school and LOVED it! I’ve avoided re-reading because I was nervous that a re-reading wouldn’t live up to my memory, but it is even more wonderful a second time around! Thank you for chosing this novel.

You made a quick comment in this episode when talking about your friend, the PTSO? (PTO) president, and mentionned that she has two daughters rather than two sons. I have two daughters (12 & 6) AND two sons (10 & 4). Of course, we all know all children are different, but I could probably parent my sons with an arm tied behind my back. They are quite easy going and can keep themselves busy for hours on end. My girls have always had drama! They can’t sit still, they pick fights with each other, and everyday they go from tears to joy and back to tears. On a day to day basis, the girls are my challenge. (And I’m a PTO treasurer ๐Ÿ™‚ )

Thank you for such a wonderful and thoughtful podcast!

I couldn’t pry the objects from his hands to photo them–maybe he’ll let go this week. And while he’s a complete ham, I’m trying not to post too many pics of the kids on the Interwebs…you know… blah…

    Heather,

I’m enjoying using the new website. I think it’s great to have everything in one place — much easier to find things that I’d like to read.

Sorry your computer is giving you problems; it seems to be an epidemic. I just replaced a printer and had to do some open case adjustments to mine (the fan wasn’t pulling enough air out of the box to keep it cool). Always something!

My only complaint with this week’s episode is that you didn’t give us any pictures of the other projects Thing2 was working on. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hurry back with another chapter or so.
