I listen on my Android phone, but don’t know how to use the app or if it is available. In December I don’thave time to look up things like that. Probably in january I’ll try.

I will probably stop listening if you go to the m4a format. I can download those and have, but they have to be then converted episode by episode and it takes several minutes for each and I just don’t want to spend that much time downloading and converting a podcast. I listen as I am doing other things, so would probably not look at any pictures, other than what is posted here on the site. I like to look at the pictures in the notes, but don’t look at my phone while I am listening.

I’m enjoying Dickens and am listening as I prepare to serve a sit-down dinner tonight for 31. Gotta get back to work.

    Happy Holidays!!!

Heather, thank you so much for the gift of Christmas Carols. I enjoyed these episodes so much! And I am in love with the reader – he is absolutely wonderful! Happy holiday!

Hi Heather–your podcasts are great, and I prefer listening to them. Usually I’m driving in the car, doing housework or on the weekends, listening while enjoying my morning coffee and browsing the Sunday paper. Appreciate your effort to bump up to video, but I will always prefer audio. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into your show. Thanks also to you, I am now a regular listener to Forgotten Classics and Chopbard.

This is my opinion only, but I listen at work and cannot look at my ipod, so the pictures are useless. Also, it makes the file size bigger, and I have a download limit. (Stupid satellite, can’t complain, at least I have internet.)I would prefer no pictures for those reasons. In any case I Loooovvvveee your podcasts, and I didn’t know Dickens could be so good, I came aboard after Tale of Two Cities. Or else I skipped it. Now I’ll have to go back and download that one.

Just a quick comment on the 2 types of shows you were posting. I have an iphone and so can see the pictures on the video podcast. Which is really cool and helpful. However, I often like to listen to the podcast while doing other things. IF I’m playing the video version of the podcast, I can’t use multitasking (like check a recipe while listening). I wasn’t sure if you were aware of that or not, but it’s something to consider.

Other than that, let me say that I was reeeaaally excited to hear A Christmas Carol. I had never actually read (heard) the text and I got a lot more out of it than I had watching any of the adaptations. Thank you!
