    A couple of thoughts about this week’s chapter:

    * That scene just before the end? HOLY HORSE!
    * I think Margaret’s rush to leave the house was more to do with the conversation between Fanny and the servant while she lay on the couch. I think she was upset to think that her actions were totally misconstrued and is embarrassed to think that she is being linked to a man she can barely stand.
    * More and more I have a tendency to agree with you that Mrs. Hale may have had some form of cancer and one that comes on very suddenly like it did.

      I think you’re right. The longer that scene sits with me the more I think it’s Fanny. Aaaaannd and you’ll know why else I think thank next week.
