I treat knitting, cooking, literature, and history with a light touch and serious enthusiasm in all of my online activities:
- CraftLit–a Podcast for Crafters Who Love Books,
- my knitting blog, Mama O Knits Too Much,
- my books What Would Madame Defarge Knit?, What (else) Would Madame Defarge Knit?,
- and Grounded–The Seven, book 1.
I’m a writer, knitter, teacher, podcaster, mother, spinner, and gluten-free cook… not necessarily in that order…
In January 2014 I began blogging a book on Cognitive Anchoring detailing how knitting, crochet, and other automatic-hand-activities positively affect the brain. I am available to speak to your guild, business, school, or shop about how important it is to encourage these kinds of activities for anyone who spends time listening to lectures, meetings, conference calls, or classes.
