  • New Patterns from CraftLit listeners and designers:
    • Erica Hernandez (of many WWMDfK? patterns fame) just released a reusable grocery bag pattern. It holds quite a bit! The bag ban grocery bag is only $5 and available at Ravelry (no account required, though is helpful).
    • Christine Guest (of Tin of Tans fame) just released a new pattern in support of her local public library. A whopping $4.50 from every $5 sale will be donated to the Friends of the Attleboro Public Library. They buy the museum passes, extra books and fund programs for the children’s room. Why? In Christine’s words, “As a homeschool Mom, I use the library VERY heavily, so I want to keep it strong and well funded.” Learn more about this pattern at Chistine’s site of musings on homeschooling, Our Curious Home. A crochet version is in the works (ooh! Just released, actually!!!)! It’s available for purchase and download at both Ravelry and Craftsy.
    • Brenda Dayne has a Knitty surprise that takes advantage of the beautiful gradiance of The Unique Sheep LuxeNow in a minute Shawl
  • Laura Ricketts, What (else) Would Madame Defarge Knit? designer, released an adult-sized (xs-3x!) version of her Comfort of a Friend Shawl as a thank-you gift for those who pre-ordered. It’s now available to purchase (it’s not included in the book). While the knit-a-long started April 16th, please feel free to join in! Promise… I’m still starting my ribbing…
  • The second volume of the What Would Madame Defarge Knit?® series, What (else) Would Madame Defarge Knit?, is now available! The print edition should be back from the printer soon. Please order your copy today! You can also join the mailing list to receive news about upcoming books in this series. Preview the patterns on the website or at Ravelry.

HELLO!

I’m Heather Ordover

Hi there and welcome!
I'm glad you found our little corner of the internet. It's a safe place to hang out, listen to a good book, and maybe get a little crafty while you do.
CraftLit has been going (almost) weekly since 2006 so we have quite a few books in our Library for you. If one isn't to your liking, I'm sure you'll find another that is.
Relax and let your ears do the reading for a bit.
