Shownotes

Here’s a mid-December update from Heather with some important CraftLit news.

Here’s a mid-December update from Heather with some important CraftLit news.

We’re officially moving CraftLit off Patreon and onto Supercast, and while the transition took a lot of work, the result is a much easier and better experience for listeners.

In this update, I cover:
• 00:00 Why CraftLit is leaving Patreon and why there’s no Moby Dick this week
• 01:10 How easy the move to Supercast is (no extra charges, no double payments): helper videos for the process listed below
• 1:20 Where to find *Christmas playlists* across platforms: all on Supercast, CraftLit.com/christmas has BOTH CraftLit.com and Libsyn playlists.
• 2:30 What *Patreon Patrons* need to do: craftlit.supercast.com/patreons (check your email from craftlit/patreon)
• 4:03 Help for *app orphans* who lost access to premium audio: craftlit.com/app-orphan/
• 05:49 *Discounts ONLY available through the end of December 2025*: craftlit.com/supercast/
• 07:35 How *gift subscriptions* work on Supercast: craftlit.supercast.com/gifts/new
• A quick programming update (Brain Broke—no Moby-Dick this week)
• 08:59 Upcoming holiday audio and a new spooky Christmas story over at @chillingtalesfordarknights (“The Portal”—NOT goofy—coming soon, written by Mr Chilling Tales himself. Author of my fave—goofy—voicework I’ve done for them: “My Closet is Trying to Kill Me” youtu.be/ql09GEF-lF4?si=broWKLqI7ooV96cE)

If you’ve ever supported CraftLit, use the app, or are thinking about becoming a premium subscriber, this video walks you through what’s changing and how to get set up.

Thank you for supporting CraftLit and for your patience as the tech finally caught up with what we’ve wanted to do all along.

Happy holidays 💜

Here are some more helper videos for you, in case you’d like to see the processes before diving in—I filmed these all on my phone:

HELLO!

I’m Heather Ordover

Hi there and welcome!
I'm glad you found our little corner of the internet. It's a safe place to hang out, listen to a good book, and maybe get a little crafty while you do.
CraftLit has been going (almost) weekly since 2006 so we have quite a few books in our Library for you. If one isn't to your liking, I'm sure you'll find another that is.
Relax and let your ears do the reading for a bit.
