    I keep forgetting to comment on this. In the begining heather talks about magic numbers. She was not aware of the meaning of the number three prior to Christianity. There is a deep meaning to the number three that is well older than that religion. The two meanings that I am aware of are “Body, Mind, and Soul,” the other is “The Maiden, The Mother, and The Crone.” The first is self explanitory and the second would be the three personas of the Goddess. I also know that there were seven sacred directions in some cultures and they are, North, South, East, West, Above, Below, and Within.
